Benefits
Description
The Bamba-Ganze-Kilifi road is a 56km road connecting the hinterland town of Bamba through Ganze to Kilifi town on the coast. Costing approximately KES 2.1 billion, the road serves as a bypass that allows traffic from Nairobi/Mariakani to reach Kilifi directly without passing through Mombasa. It functions as a ring road connecting Mariakani, Bamba, Ganze, Kilifi, and Malindi, opening up previously isolated communities in Kilifi County's interior and boosting agricultural transport.
Overview
Created a direct inland-to-Kilifi connection bypassing Mombasa, opening up Kilifi's interior hinterland and reducing dependency on the congested coastal highway.
