Description

The Ekerenyo-Nyamira-Keroka road is being upgraded as part of the associated feeder roads under the Isebania-Kisii-Ahero A1 highway rehabilitation project Lot 2. The Misambo-Ekerenyo section of approximately 15km is part of the feeder roads included in the AfDB-funded project. The road connects agricultural communities in western Nyamira to the county headquarters and onward to Keroka, a major trading centre on the Kisii-Sotik highway. The upgrade includes bitumen surfacing, drainage construction, and safety improvements.

Overview

Connects productive agricultural communities to markets and reduces isolation of western Nyamira sub-counties
