Description
The Funzi Causeway is a road connection being built off the Milalani-Munje road to link Funzi Island to the Kwale County mainland. The KES 1.15 billion project will provide the first vehicular access to Funzi Island, which has been accessible only by boat. The causeway will serve pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles, opening up the island's tourism attractions and supporting the local fishing industry. It is one of the most anticipated infrastructure projects in the Kwale south coast area.
