Description

The Kwale-Kinango road is a 30km road being upgraded from murram to bitumen standards by Kenya National Highways Authority. At 21% completion as of 2025, the contractor has faced delays due to insufficient budgetary allocation and has requested timeline extensions. The road will connect Kwale's administrative center to Kinango and onward to the Samburu-Taita Taveta corridor.
