428km 400kV high-voltage transmission line connecting Lake Turkana Wind Power station at Loiyangalani (Marsabit) to Suswa substation near Nairobi. Essential infrastructure to evacuate 310MW from Africa's largest wind farm to the national grid. Officially commissioned by President Kenyatta on 19 July 2019. Designed to also serve future geothermal and wind projects along its route. Line traverses remote, arid terrain across Marsabit, Samburu, Isiolo, and Nakuru counties.
