Description
The Masara-Suna-Kehancha road (C13) is a 47.1km road being upgraded to bitumen standard in Migori County. The road begins at Masara on the Muhuru Bay-Suna road, joins the Kisii-Isebania A1 highway at Suna, and terminates at Kehancha town, the largest town in Kuria sub-county. Previously, Kehancha had no tarmac connection, severely limiting economic development in Kuria. The project is being constructed by China Wu Yi Company Limited under supervision by AMA Consulting Engineers. The project was funded by the Government of Kenya through KeNHA and includes the Awendo-Mariwa road (D202) of 20.4km.
