Description

Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) in Kakamega is undergoing significant expansion to accommodate its growing student population and enhance its academic programs. The expansion includes construction of new lecture halls, science and engineering laboratories, student hostels, a modern library, and sports facilities. MMUST was elevated from Western University College of Science and Technology to a full university in 2007 and has grown to serve over 15,000 students. The expansion is funded through government capitation, internal revenue, and development partner support.
