Description

The Mwachande Bridge is being constructed across River Ramisi to connect Msambweni and Lunga Lunga sub-counties in Kwale County. The KES 537.5 million bridge is one of the most critical infrastructure developments in the coastal region, linking thousands of people to markets, hospitals, schools, and other amenities. At 60% completion as of late 2024, the bridge will significantly reduce travel times for communities currently forced to take long detours to cross the river.
