Description
The Ndhiwa-Rodi Kopany Water Supply Project is designed to provide clean water to the semi-arid parts of Homa Bay County that experience chronic water shortages. The project draws water from Lake Victoria, treats it at a modern water treatment plant, and distributes it through a network of pipelines and storage tanks to Ndhiwa town and surrounding communities. The area has historically depended on seasonal rivers and boreholes that often dry up. The project is funded through the Lake Victoria South Water Services Board and national government allocations.
