Description
The Nyanchwa-Keroka road rehabilitation project covers approximately 30km from Nyanchwa on the outskirts of Kisii town to Keroka at the junction with the Kisii-Sotik highway. The road had severely deteriorated due to heavy traffic and poor drainage, causing significant delays for commuters and goods transport. The project includes widening the carriageway to 7 meters, constructing proper drainage systems, installing culverts, and applying bitumen surfacing. The road is vital for tea farming communities in the region and connects to Bomet and Kericho counties.
